The following provisions comprise the established set of guidelines for all SICM-Based (internal) scholarships or those that are externally-funded either by the government, private institution or non-governmental organization or individually-sponsored, in which the provisions of the law (for government-funded) and Memorandum of Agreement (for private), as the case may be, shall prevail.

Eligibility

A. Scholarship is a privilege not a right. In conveying this privilege, it carries qualifications and obligations on the part of the scholar. This form as an integral part of developing values, discipline, gratitude and service;


B. All Scholarship are given to qualified incoming (new and transferee) students of the Basic Education Department and Higher Education Department who are already at SICM;


C. Scholarships are based on the established eligibility criteria and other set requirements as outlined on each Scholarship Category stated in this Manual;

Application

D. Applications forms shall be issued by the OS and must be filled out and submitted within the designated time frame released by the office. Applications that are neither completely filled out nor accompanied by required documents shall not be processed;


E. All scholarship transactions between the applicant and the Office for Scholarship shall be communicated or coursed through primarily via email using the official email address scholarship@santaisabel.edu.ph. In some allowable circumstances, other means of transaction communication may be permitted under reasonable circumstances and authorized by the Scholarship Coordinator. All applicants must only use the official email address of the Office for Scholarship however, on-site application may be allowed whenever possible;


Validity

F. Scholarship, in the nature of Entrance Scholarship shall be valid for One (1) School year for the Basic Education Department and One (1) Semester for the Higher Education. However, by way of exception, scholarship or grant for the Higher Education Department (HED) can still be availed in the following cases even beyond the above mentioned validity period:


- In the case of Academic Scholarship, subject to grade qualification at the end of every semester as required and specified in the Student Handbook for Higher Education Department. Evaluation of the grades (semester basis) by the student shall be made to validate if the student is qualified in the Academic Scholarship and be subject for a percentage discount depending on the general average. The same is applicable to students qualified for St. Francis Regis Clet Scholarship (formerly Dean's Lister) except that discount is not applicable.


G. Scholarship may be subject to Re-application or Renewal. Re-application of Scholarship applies to the Basic Education Department where the student files an application yearly based on eligibility criteria and certified by the Principal either as Rank 1 or Rank 2. On the other hand, Renewal of Scholarship applies to the Higher Education Department where the scholar continues to enjoy the scholarship provided they complied with the grade requirements set forth in the scholarship applied for. In both cases, the scholar must observe the terms and conditions in the Scholarship and has not committed any of the grounds to suspend or forfeit the scholarship. Further, necessary documents must be submitted to accomplish the processing of either the renewal or re-application of scholarship.


Terms and Conditions

H. Non-observance on the completion of the scholarship terms and conditions mentioned under Section 8 - Supplementary Provisions - Operational Guidelines holds the right to withhold the scholarship application. Failure to comply within the specified application period shall give the Office for Scholarship (OS) through its Coordinator the authority to decline the scholarship application and will no longer be subject for evaluation.


I. Internally, scholarship/discount is no longer applicable to those who are already enjoying another scholarship/discount given by the school, unless he/she opted to choose the academic scholarship and forego the other one. However, those who have been receiving financial assistance/grant/scholarship from external source may still avail the scholarship offered by the school. Such external financial resource may stand in conjunction with internal scholarship received by the student, however, subject to the conditions or circumstances of time to warrant the conjunction.


CATEGORY A: ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP
FULL SCHOLARSHIP

Full Scholarship is given to qualified Isabelans officially enrolled in the previous school year and incoming students of Grades 1 to 12 from both public and private schools who are officially certified by the Principal as Rank 1.

Eligibility
  1. Isabelans officially enrolled in the previous school year and Incoming students of Grades One (1) to Twelve (12) (both public and private schools) Rank 2.
  2. General Weighted Average grade of 90% and no grade below 85% in all subjects per quarter
  3. Grade level size is not less than 75.
  4. Has applied within the specified period.
  5. Applicant must not be a recipient of another scholarship, or discount simultaneously with academic scholarship given by the school.
  6. Has not committed any major offense stated in the Student Handbook under the supervision /authority of the Student Affairs Office/Coordinator
Requirements
  1. Accomplished BED Academic Scholarship Form with 2x2 colored ID picture, white background with full name
  2. Photocopy of Form 138 (Report Card)
  3. Photocopy of Certificate of Good Moral Character
  4. Certificate of Ranking from the Principal as Top 1 in the grade level with school's dry seal enclosed in an envelope with signature across the flap

HALF SCHOLARSHIP

Half Scholarship is given to qualified Isabelans officially enrolled in the previous school year and incoming students of Grades One (1 ) to Twelve (12) both from public and private schools who are officially certified by the Principal as Rank 2.

ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP

Entrance Scholarship is given to NEW and TRANSFEREE students of Grades One (1) to Twelve (12) both from public and private schools.

Eligibility
  1. Incoming students of Grades One (1) to Twelve (12) (both public and private schools).
  2. General Weighted Average grade of 90% and no grade below 85% in all subjects per quarter
  3. Has applied within the specified period.
  4. Applicant must not be a recipient of another scholarship, or discount simultaneously with academic scholarship given by the school.

CATEGORY C: GOVERNMENT-FUNDED SCHOLARSHIP
Education Service Contracting (GASTPE-ESC)

GASTPE-ESC (Education Service Contracting) is a government assistance given to qualified students officially enrolled in a private secondary education school based on the stipulated amount by the Department of Education.

Eligibility
  1. Incoming students of Grade Seven (7) (both public and private schools)
  2. Has applied within the specified period
  3. Applicant must not be a recipient of another scholarship, or discount simultaneously with academic scholarship given by the school.
Requirements
  1. Accomplished GASTPE-ESC Application Form with 1x1 colored ID picture, white background.
  2. Photocopy of Form 138 (Report Card) of the previous school year
  3. ESC Certificate from previous school (for transferees only)

GOVERNMENT SUBSIDY FOR A PERIOD OF FOUR (4) YEARS CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT FROM GRADE 7 TO 10


Senior High School Voucher Program (SHS-VP)

SHS-VP (Senior High School Voucher Program) is a government assistance given to qualified Grades Eleven (11) and Twelve (12) students officially enrolled in a private education Senior High School institution provider. The voucher amount depends on the category of the student-applicant.

Eligibility
  1. Incoming students from public schools, ESC grantees and Qualified Voucher Recipients (QVR) from private schools, and ALS A&E and PEPT passers.
  2. Continuously enrolled in the succeeding school year.
  3. Student did not transfer to SICM after the thirty (30) day period of the school year based from the DepEd SHS Voucher Guidelines.
  4. Has not been retained in the same grade level at the end of the school year.
Requirements
  1. Photocopy of Form 138 (Report Card).
  2. ESC Certificate from previous school or QVR Certificate issued by DepEd.

CATEGORY A: ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP
FULL SCHOLARSHIP

FULL SCHOLARSHIP is given to incoming Freshmen both from public and private schools for the INCOMING SEMESTER ONLY, unless the General Average grade after the end of the semester is qualified to apply for the Dean's Lister for the next semester.

Eligibility
  1. Incoming Freshmen students (both public and private schools).
  2. General Weighted Average grade of 96-100% and no grade below 85% in all subjects taken
  3. Has applied within the specified period.
  4. Superior College Entrance Exam result.
  5. Enrolled in regular class/es and no tutorial subject/s
  6. Has not committed any major offense stated in the Student Handbook under the supervision /authority of the Student Affairs Office/Coordinator.
Requirements
  1. Accomplished HED Academic Scholarship Form with 2x2 colored ID picture, white background with full name
  2. Photocopy of Form 138 (Report Card)
  3. Photocopy of Certificate of Good Moral Character

  1. Incoming Freshmen students (both public and private schools).
  2. General Weighted Average grade of 91 - 95% and no grade below 85% in all subjects taken.
  3. Has applied within the specified period.
  4. Above Average College Entrance Exam result.
  5. Enrolled in regular class/es and no tutorial subject/s
  6. Has not committed any major offense stated in the Student Handbook under the supervision /authority of the Student Affairs Office/Coordinator.

ST. FRANCIS REGIS CLET SCHOLARSHIP

St. Francis Regis Clet Scholarship is an academic scholarship given to qualified college student/s of SICM officially enrolled and classified under Group A: REGULAR PAYING Students.

Eligibility
  1. Old student officially enrolled in the previous semester and/or in the succeeding semester
  2. With a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 90% and above and with no grades below 85% in all courses taken within the semester.
  3. Has taken a curriculum load of at least 18 units from the previous semester as prescribed in the curriculum.
  4. Has applied within the specified period.
  5. Applicant must not be a recipient of another scholarship, or discount simultaneously with academic scholarship given by the school.
  6. Enrolled in regular class/es and no tutorial subject/s
  7. Has not committed any major offense stated in the Student Handbook under the supervision /authority of the Student Affairs Office/Coordinator.
Requirements
  1. Accomplished and submitted St. Francis Regis Clet Scholarship Form
  2. Photocopy of the previous semester’s Copy of Grades (complete grades)

BRACKET A: 100% - Scholarship Discount on Tuition and GWA 95% and above with NO grade lower than 90% in any subjects taken

BRACKET B: 75% - Scholarship Discount on Tuition and GWA 92% to 94.99% and above with NO grade lower than 88% in any subjects taken

BRACKET C: 50% - Scholarship Discount on Tuition and GWA GWA 90% to 91.99% and above with NO grade lower than 85% in any subjects taken

CATEGORY B: ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP
ISABELAN MONEY-OFF PACKAGE 1

ISABELAN MONEY-OFF PACKAGE 1 is an Entrance Discount Package given to qualified Senior High School graduates of Santa Isabel College of Manila (SICM) who enroll as Freshman for One (1) Semester in the Higher Education Department.

Eligibility
  1. Incoming Freshmen students (SICM Senior High School graduate)
  2. No final grade below 85% in all subjects taken in the 1st and 2nd Semesters of Grade 12
  3. Has applied within the specified period
  4. Applicant must not be a recipient of another scholarship, or discount simultaneously with academic scholarship given by the school.

IISABELAN MONEY-OFF PACKAGE 2 is an Entrance Discount Package given to qualified incoming Freshmen both from public and private schools for One (1) Semester (Incoming)

  1. Incoming Freshmen students (both public and private schools)
  2. General Weighted Average grade of 90% with no final grade below 85% in all subjects taken in 1st and 2nd semester of Grade 12
  3. Has applied within the specified period
  4. Applicant must not be a recipient of another scholarship, or discount simultaneously with academic scholarship given by the school.

Subsidized Tuition Scheme (STS) for Evening Classes

SUBSIDIZED TUITION SCHEME PROGRAM (STSP) is a program intended for working students which allows them to enroll on a night shift schedule under a subsidized school fee per semester.

Eligibility
  1. Incoming Freshmen students or transferee (both public and private schools)
  2. No final grade below 85% in all subjects taken from the previous school
  3. Has applied within the specified period
  4. Applicant must not be a recipient of another scholarship, or discount simultaneously with academic scholarship given by the school.
  5. Has not committed any major offense stated in the Student Handbook under the supervision /authority of the Student Affairs Office/Coordinator.
Requirements
  1. Accomplished HED Student Grant Application (STSP) Form with 2x2 colored ID picture, white background with full name
  2. Photocopy of Form 138 (Report Card) for High School graduate or Transcript of Record (TOR) for college transferee
  3. Photocopy of Certificate of Good Moral Character or Honorable Dismissal
  4. Letter of Intent and/or Application Letter addressed to the President coursed thru the CES Director
  5. Certificate of Indigency (from the Barangay)
  6. Certificate of Employment with compensation
  7. Home visit conducted by the School's Social Worker
  8. College Entrance Exam Result taken within a period of one (1) year prior to enrollment
  9. Medical Certificate of Fit to Work/Study from DOH accredited medical institution
