On this era of technology, it is imperative that one has to be adept on its use to get the best it offers. Many platforms are available ensuring that perfect communication and harmonious relationship are achieved.
Pope Francis views communication as a transformative force that should be rooted in hope, truth, and gentleness. He advocates for a model of "communicating with the heart" that fosters unity, empathy, and dialogue by moving beyond hostility, disinformation, and polarization. Key aspects of his message include listening with the ear of the heart, encountering people where they are, and telling stories that build bridges and nourish hope, especially for the marginalized and forgotten.
The website re-launch of Santa Isabel College of Manila is a testament to this trend in technology. Even the school has its functional website but an upgraded one through its new features adapting the latest technology has to be ventured on for the widest reach possible of its stakeholders. The additional features of the website will definitely satisfy our students, faculty, alumni, and other friends of SICM.
The inclusion of the Graphical User Interface (GUI) will enable the users to interact with electronic devices through visual elements. Designed with the average user in mind, GUIs allow people to interact with devices using graphical elements like buttons, menus, windows, and icons. These interfaces made computers and other devices easier to use by allowing direct manipulation through tools like a mouse or touchscreen. Today, GUIs also support voice commands, adding further convenience to user interactions.
As we journey together in faith and service may this platform be a potent force that will bring us closer so that love, peace, and hope will permeate in the campus and in the larger community where we find ourselves. While being up in technology we always consider upholding its highest ethical standards ensuring balance perspective of faith and life.
